Foundation Degree in Early Years Leadership

If you have experience in Childcare and want to build your knowledge and gain a qualification, our Uni Crest Hi-ResFoundation Degree in Early Years Leadership is a great starting point.
We’ve teamed up with the University of Hertfordshire to deliver this workshop led degree, which has been developed in full consultation with Norfolk Early Years.The programme is practically based, so your learning is designed to assist you to implement skills and knowledge in your setting. All assignments produce tangible outcomes for the setting and are designed to enhance professional practice as well as evidence academic learning. Modules throughout the two year programme include:

  • Embedding Best Practice in the Early Years Workplace
  • Business Planning and Legal Responsibilities
  • Development Matters

  • Early Years Leadership and Management

 

In addition to this, the degree also includes a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management. The degree is part time, all workshops are based at The Norfolk Showground in Norwich, whilst tutorials take place on site visits to a variety of settings and outdoor venues. The course takes two years to complete, meaning you can work and study at the same time.

For those of you who already have a Foundation Degree in Early Years Leadership, you may wish to enhance your skills base by studying for the Level 5 Leadership and Management to strengthen those elements of your professional practice.

If you have already secured your Level 4 Early Years Foundation Degree through another provider, we are able to offer a top up Level 5 Foundation Degree in Early Years Leadership.
